Our membership is for the entire renal healthcare team - we go beyond providing resources and tools to dialysis professionals. Renal Healthcare Association members also include Medical Directors, Nurse Managers, Technicians, Dietitians, Finance Managers, C-Suite professionalism, and all other professionals who provide dialysis care. 

Renal Healthcare Association members receive access to regular and timely education, an active online community, networking opportunities, tools, and resources to improve their operations, and much more! Membership also strengthens and supports our voice on the Hill, learn more about our advocacy platform.

MEMBERSHIP YEAR

Our Membership Year runs from July 1 to June 30 (i.e. July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021). Membership applications received on or before March 31 will be good through June 30 of the same year. We offer a mid-year discount to Active and Affiliate members that join between January 1 - March 31 of each year (Additional Contacts and Associate Members are not eligible for this discount).

Membership Categories 

Active Member
Annual membership dues: $350  

Includes one individual designated as the Primary Contact**

Active Membership is for companies and organizations that meet the Renal Healthcare Association's definition⁺ of Provider Company or Management Consulting Company. Under a company's Active Membership is a designated a Primary Representative. The designated Primary Representative acts as the voting member and is eligible to run for a board member position and sit on the Renal Healthcare Association Board of Directors. An Active Member may have unlimited non-voting Additional Contacts that may participate in the Association's activities and benefits. 

⁺Provider Company: a provider of dialysis services and who furnishes, bills, or is paid for dialysis treatments in the normal course of business.  This could include any provider that operates as a standalone or is hospital-based.

⁺Management Consulting Company: a company that consults for new or existing Dialysis facility development or management of a dialysis program

        

Affiliate Member
Annual membership dues: $350 

Includes one individual designated as the Primary Contact

An Affiliate member is any COMPANY involved in the ESRD industry and supportive of the purposes of Renal Healthcare Association. These companies are not eligible for membership as an Active member of Renal Healthcare Association.  An Affiliate member company must designate a Primary Representative to represent it.  An Affiliate member may have unlimited Additional Contacts that may participate in Association activities and benefits. Affiliate Members do not have voting rights and are not eligible to sit on the Board of Directors.

        

Associate Member
Annual membership dues: $150 

An Associate Member is exclusively an individual who is involved in the kidney care industry and supportive of the mission and vision of Renal Healthcare Association, but is NOT directly employed by or otherwise involved in companies that are eligible for Active or Affiliate Membership. Associate members do not have voting rights and are not eligible to sit on the Board of Directors.

        

Additional Contact Membership for an Active or Affiliate Member 
Annual membership dues: $50 per additional contact

An Active Member or Affiliate Member Company may identify unlimited additional contacts as part of their active membership. Additional Contacts receive all Renal Healthcare Association member benefits, including access to the Voices Members Only website, e-mail communications, including the weekly Renal Watch newsletter, and discounted meeting registration rates. Additional Contacts are not eligible to vote or be a candidate for, elected to or appointed to the Board or serve as an Officer.

If your organization is currently a member,  you are eligible for membership as an Additional Contact, annual dues for Additional Contacts are $50 per individual.

        

**Primary Representative
Annual membership is included with Active and Affiliate Memberships (Organization Memberships)

• Active and Affiliate member companies are represented by an individual who has been designated in writing to be the Primary Representative by the company.
• A company can only have one Primary Representative at a time.
• A change in Primary Representative may be made by the company in writing to Renal Healthcare Association.
• Primary Representatives receive dues billings for the member company, and are the voting contact for the member company.  
• Only Primary Representatives of Active member companies are eligible to run for the Renal Healthcare Association Board of Directors.
